Fellowship Program - Section Conferences

 

The educational mission of the Section of Cardiology is carried out in part through a series of regularly scheduled conferences. This conference schedule includes on a weekly basis:

  • A clinical electrophysiology conference
  • Two electrocardiograph interpretation sessions
  • A cardiac catheterization laboratory conference that includes a broad range of clinical problems
  • An every two week research conference for the entire section

There is also a weekly “Advanced Cardiac Imaging Conference” and an every two week combined Cardiology/CT Surgery M&M conference. Cardiology Grand Rounds with visiting speakers occurs weekly and there is a weekly journal club. The research conference includes presentations of both a basic and clinical nature.
