fox chase temple bone marrow transplant program
Clinical Services
The Fox Chase-Temple Bone Marrow Transplant Program offers state-of-the-art clinical trials, including one-of-a-kind studies conducted only at the Fox Chase-Temple facility. Donor transplants may use either matched related or matched unrelated donors.
Indications for Autologous Transplants
- Acute myelogenous leukemia, in complete remission
- Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, in complete remission
- Relapsed or high-risk Hodgkin's disease
- Relapsed or high-risk, low, intermediate or high-grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Stage II or III multiple myeloma
- Relapsed germ cell/testicular tumors
- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia Rai Stage II-III
- Primary amyloidosis
Indications for Allogeneic Transplants
Allogeneic transplants or syngeneic transplants are available for patients with HLA identical donors or identical twin donors for the following diseases:
- Severe aplastic anemia or paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria
- Chronic myelogenous leukemia in chronic or accelerated phase
- Preleukemic and/or myelodysplastic syndromes
- Acute myelogenous leukemia in complete remission or early relapse
- Acute lymphoblastic leukemia in complete remission or early relapse
- Relapsed Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas
- Relapsed multiple myeloma
- Selected patients with metastatic clear cell renal cancer will be considered for mini-transplant protocols after they have completed at least one cycle of immunotherapy
- Chronic lymphatic leukemia Rai Stage II-III
