Residency Program

 

Application Information

 

The residency period is four years (excluding surgery). The surgical year must be taken at Temple. There is no need to apply separately for surgery. If you match our program, you will be accepted into the Surgery Program as well. To receive information and an application to the National Resident Matching Program, please contact:

In order to complete your application, please send the following credentials:

  • Medical school transcript
  • NRMP number
  • At least two recommendation letters
  • Dean's Letter
  • Photo (optional)
  • Personal statement

The deadline for submission of all credentials is November 1st. After the applications have been reviewed, you will be receiving a letter stating whether or not you have been chosen for an interview. Please DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE; you WILL be notified by mail or telephone EITHER WAY.

 

Interviews will be scheduled in December, January and February.
