Online PROGRAMS

In the coming months, Temple University School of Medicine's Office for Continuing Medical Education will be enhancing our online CME course offerings in an effort to meet our public service and education missions.  Self-directed, comprehensive, interactive multimedia courses will be available to physicians and health care professionals who can earn CME credits in a convenient, self-paced environment.

By participating in our online course offerings, physicians and health care professionals can:

  • Fulfill continuing medical education requirements at their convenience, from home or office
  • Earn CME credits with no travel inconvenience or cost

Geriatric Educational Center of Pennsylvania (GEC/PA) Online Modules

 

This educational activity was designed for primary care physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  At the completion of this CME program, participants should be able to: 1) identify and describe clinical issues related to the topics listed;  2) summarize the prevalence and epidemiology of the topics listed; 3) diagnose and treat patients using the best evidence-based scientific information available for the topics listed below. Temple University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 10 AMA Physician’s Recognition Award Category 1 Credit(s)™ (one credit for each module).  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

To receive CME credit for each online module, the following four steps must be completed:

Step 2: Begin module and view the educational video

Step 3: Complete the Self-Assessment (Post-Test)

Step 4: Complete the Course Evaluation
