Do I need my confirmation to enter the building? |
| A: |
No, it is not mandatory. However, it is helpful to have it when passing by the security station at the entrance to the new Medical Education and Research Building, Student Faculty Center or any other Temple University facility. |
Travel and Lodging

How long does it take to get to Temple's Health Sciences Center from Philadelphia International Airport and the train station? |

It is approximately 20 to 30 minutes from the airport and 10 to 15 minutes from the 30th Street train station. |

It takes approximately 10 minutes to get from downtown Philadelphia hotels to Temple's Health Sciences Center. |

Is Temple's Health Sciences Center within walking distance of the hotel? |

No. We do not advise walking from the hotel to the Health Sciences Center. It's convenient to take public transportation such as bus or subway. For more information on public transportation, please visit our Directions page. |

Does Temple University validate parking? |

Some programs include parking but please check your program confirmation for specific details. Secure parking is available in the East and West Ontario Street parking garages for a maximum fee of $12 per day. For more information on parking, please visit our Directions page. |

May I bring a guest? |

For most CME courses, unpaid guests are not permitted to attend lectures or meal functions. However, some CME courses have social functions where guest are permitted, usually at an additional charge. Please refer to your course program for specific details. |

Course Materials

I can't attend the conference. Can I get a copy of the syllabus? |

Often, if you notify our office in advance that you would like a syllabus, we can order one printed for you for a fee that would include shipping and handling. |
Cancellation
| Q: |
I need to cancel my registration. What should I do? |
| A: |
If you must cancel, please notify the Office of Continuing Medical Education by phone at 215-707-4787, or by fax at 215-707-8268. Each program brochure will have specific cancellation dates. Please refer to the individual program brochure. Temple University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation or postponement, Temple University will refund only the registration fee and is not responsible for other related travel expenses.
An administrative fee of $50 will be retained on all refunds, which will be processed only after written notice is received. Cancellations received later than 5 business days prior to the course are non-refundable. |
