Temple University School of Medicine's Office for Continuing Medical Education was founded 35 years ago, in 1971, by Albert J. Finestone, MD to fulfill a growing need for postgraduate education within the medical community. 

Currently, our office conducts hundreds of programs in a diverse cross-section of medical specialties. We look to the future with great optimism and a commitment to continue our history of excellence in program development.

By offering high-quality continuing medical education that complies rigorously with standards set by multiple agencies including the Food and Drug Administration and the Office of the Inspector General, Temple University School of Medicine works to supports the education goals of all health care professionals and serves the needs of patients through the advancement of medicine.
