SPECIAL HONORS: AWARDS CEREMONY FOR TUSM GRADUATING CLASS OF 2012 AND THEIR FACULTY

Recipients of awards, TUSM's Class of 2012 and faculty

 

Each year just before Temple University School of Medicine’s commencement, select faculty and graduating students are presented with honors for special achievement. On May 10, 2012, during a ceremony attended by family, friends, classmates and colleagues, members of TUSM’s Class of 2012 and their faculty received a variety of awards in recognition of their excellence in many facets of the medical profession.

 

Faculty awardees were recognized for their teaching excellence in basic science, clinical, and bedside contexts; as well as for their dedication and service in stimulating and guiding the intellectual development of TUSM students.

 

Graduating student awardees earned recognition for clinical and academic excellence in specific medical and surgical specialties, as well as for various qualities of medical professionalism – including scholarship, leadership, humanitarianism, compassion, and clinical service to the Temple community.
