Associate Director, Office of Academic Affiliates
Kenyalyn Makone-Anunda joined Temple University School of Medicine in August 2006 as the Clerkship Coordinator, Department of Family Medicine. In this capacity, she cooridnated student clinical rotation assignments for third year clerkships and fourth year sub-internships at 26 family medicine affiliate sites.
In September 2008, Ms. Makone-Anunda was offered an assistant directorship opportunity to design study abroad programs in countries with emerging global markets for the federally-funded Center of International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at Temple University's Fox School of Business. At CIBER, she designed and led student study abroad programs to Ghana (2010) and India (2011).
In May 2011, Ms. Makone-Anunda rejoined Temple University School of Medicine as Associate Director in the Office of Academic Affiliates. The Office of Academic Affiliates collaborates with three affiliate campuses and other external groups in Pennsylvania and around the world to integrate procedures and operational support for TUSM students and faculty.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a grants administrator for the Rockefeller Foundation in New York and the Ford Foundation in Nairobi. Ms. Makone-Anunda has a BA degree in Media Studies from the New School University, New York.
