Dr. Gadegbeku has built a career in clinical investigation, examining mechanisms of hypertension in chronic kidney disease, participating in and leading many studies funded by the National Institutes of Health, directing and serving in leadership roles both regionally and nationally.
On of her recent publications pertains to her work with African Americans with hypertensive neuropathy—the largest trial of its kind to date.
Dr. Gadegbeku is interested in developing strategies to enhance recruitment of minority populations in clinical trials.
