Marla Davis Bellamy, JD, MGA, holds a joint appointment at Temple University Beasley School of Law and Temple University School of Medicine.
Prior to joining Temple in July 2010, she was the Executive Director of the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia and spent five years as Chief of Staff at the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Director of Community Affairs at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and Executive Director of the Healthcare Management Alternatives Foundation, Inc.
Ms. Bellamy holds a BA in Communications from Johnson C. Smith University, Master's in Government Affairs from the University of Pennsylvania, and Juris Doctorate from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
Ms. Bellamy is Director of the Philadelphia CeaseFire Program, part of a national, evidence-based violence intervention program proven to decrease instances of gun violence in urban areas. Marla Davis Bellamy is Co-Director of the Center for Bioethics, Urban Health, and Policy.
