STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Jennie Johnson, 2012 TUSM graduate, in community garden Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM) is dedicated to educating and training students to be outstanding physicians who are thoroughly prepared to meet the patients' medical needs. TUSM attracts students of the highest academic caliber who have demonstrated capacity for volunteerism, altruism, and a genuine desire to help those in need. Compassion and service to others are hallmarks of Temple students.

Our students participate in more than 50 interest groups that address various aspects of medicine, surgery, service, and society. According to the accrediting council for medical schools in the United States, TUSM has one of the most service-oriented student populations in the country.
