RE:                 Faculty/Staff Campaign for the new medical school building

I am deeply grateful for your commitment to this institution and the critically important work that it does.  Frankly, I am amazed at how much we accomplish, and how well we do, with our aging physical plant. 

Just imagine what we can achieve with a spectacular new facility: it will make it so much easier to attract outstanding medical students and to recruit and retain outstanding faculty and staff. Our education and research enterprises will be significantly enhanced, which will allow us to improve our national rankings and reputation.  And we will all have the pleasure of working in an inviting, attractive, “user-friendly” space, one that you all richly deserve! Just think about what Temple School of Medicine can become when we build this building, how it will fulfill our educational, research, and clinical care missions. 

I hope we can complete our faculty campaign with 100% participation from every member of the School’s faculty and staff.   Please join me in helping to make this new building a reality, and in so doing, make Temple School of Medicine truly the place “where medicine comes to life.”
