What is Main Campus Program Board (MCPB)
MCPB is a Temple University student organization dedicated to planning and executing premier events for the student body on Main Campus.
What does MCPB do?
We plan on-campus events including concerts and lectures; University events including Homecoming and Spring Fling; and off-campus events including trips to Broadway, NYC and other popular, out-of-state destinations.
When does MCPB meet?
MCPB General Assembly meets every Wednesday at 5 PM in room 200 of the Student Center.
Can I join MCPB?
Yes! MCPB welcomes all Temple students to become members of the organization. We have three different committees in which you can help contribute ideas or volunteer for events.
What are the three planning committees?
University Events, On-Campus Events and Off-Campus Events.
Are there any other, non-planning committees?
Yes, MCPB also has a Creative Team, a Marketing Committee and General Assembly (GA) committee.
What does the Marketing Committee do?
The Marketing Committee is a group of individuals that work together to promote MCPB by getting its name out around the campus. They put up posters and flyers within the different facilities on campus which gets the word out about the many events that MCPB has going on. The also hold promotional tables in the different facilities on campus.
What does the Creative Team do?
The New creative team combines the creative efforts of those who are interested in making videos, working on the website, writing for MCPB's monthly Newsletter The Focus, and creating the print ads for all of our events. Anyone who is interested in helping or learning is welcome to join! See the Creative Director for more details.
