BulletTwo Challenges to Technology in Our Schools: Commercialization and Digital Equity: The University of Georgia's Lynne Schrum discusses commercialization of educational technology and the societal divisions aggravated by the digital age.

BulletThe Digital Promise Project advocates the creation of an educational trust fund called the Digital Opportunity Investment Trust (DO IT), which would provide for the use of digital technologies in education. The George Lucas Educational Foundation recently released a video for this project illustrating the potentials of new technology in learning.

Read about Pennsylvania's vision, strategic goals, and actions to ensure the effective use of technology in education. Among its collaborative strategies, the Department of Education has partnered with MAR*TEC to evaluate the status of technology integration at Pennsylvania's Preservice Teacher Programs.
