Conclusion

Teachers can fulfill professional development requirements for re-licensure in a “sustained, intensive, and high-quality” way, furthering their own PIPs while learning to integrate technology thoroughly within curricular materials and practice. By addressing these skills, teachers are meeting the dual challenge of NCLB: to improve student academic achievement through the use of technology and to help students become technology literate.
