Regional Assistance Centers

  • Pennsylvania (IUs):

    Pennsylvania's Intermediate Units (IU) are regional education service agencies charged with providing programs and services to public, private, and nonpublic (religious) schools. Intermediate Units provide curriculum and instructional support, professional development, and technology services and operate educational programs such as special and alternative education on a regional basis. They are supported by member school districts, state funds, and state and federal grants.
  • New Jersey (ETTCs):

    Educational Technology Training Centers (ETTC) act as county-based resource centers that offers educators professional development opportunities. They are funded by the Federal Goals 2000 program and the state. The ETTCs contain demonstration technology equipment and offer training programs to assist teachers in implementing the Core Curriculum Content Standards.
  • Delaware (DCET):

    The Delaware Center for Educational Technology (DCET) is intended to create a modern educational technology infrastructure in Delaware's public schools for the purpose of enabling students through the use of information technology to meet the academic standards set by the State Board of Education and to develop the skills needed by a world-class work force.
