  • AskERIC: This collection contains more than 2000 unique lesson plans which have been written and submitted to AskERIC by teachers from all over the United States and the world. It has lesson plans from a wide array of subjects. It has a good search option that helps you to find the lesson plan you need.
  • AtoZ Lesson Plans: Has around 300 original lesson plans submitted by teachers.
  • Bigchalk Education Network: It contains resources for teachers , students , parents and librarians. The lesson plans are categorized into elementary, middle and high school.
  • Blue Web'n: Blue Web'n is a searchable database of about 1000 outstanding Internet learning sites categorized by subject area, audience, and type (lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, & tools). Blue Web'n does not attempt to catalog all educational sites, but only the most useful sites -- especially online activities targeted at learners.
  • Classroom Today: Connected Lessons are curriculum lessons designed especially for students. Each lesson is linked to a curriculum subject and guides students step-by-step to complete a related project. This is a subscription based website.
  • Columbia Education Center: These lesson plans were created by teachers for use in their own classrooms. The subjects include Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies. They also have a large collection of links to other internet-based lesson plans and resources. There are resources available here for both teachers and students.
  • Discovery School: Find hundreds of original lesson plans, all written by teachers for teachers. They also provide teaching materials for teachers, resources for students, and advice for parents on how to help their kids enjoy learning and excel in school.
  • Edhelper: This site is dedicated to providing teachers a single shop for educational resources. It has 10,960 Lesson Plans, 1,223 WebQuests, 5000 Free Worksheet Generators, 1,600 Word and Critical Thinking Problems, Exams and Puzzles for Standardized Tests. This is a subscription based website
  • EDSITEment: EDSITEment acts as a gateway for teachers, students, and parents searching for high-quality material on the Internet in the subject areas of literature and language arts, foreign languages, art and culture, and history and social studies.
  • Education Place: Resources for elementary-school teachers, students, and parents. Includes reading/language arts, math, science, and social studies centers, intervention, professional development, searchable activity database, educational games, and textbook support.
  • Education World: It states that it is a home for educators on the Internet, a place where teachers could gather and share ideas. It has online resources where educators could start each day to find the lesson plans and research materials they were looking for and information on how to integrate technology in the classroom.
  • Learning Space: The lessons listed in this site were designed and taught by teachers who are integrating the world wide web into their classrooms.

  • Lessonplanz.com: is searchable directory of free online lesson plans and lesson plan resources for all grades and subjects. LessonPlanz.com was designed to provide an easier way for teachers to find online lessons and teaching resources.
  • MarcoPolo: :program provides no-cost, standards-based Internet content for the K-12 teacher and classroom, developed by the nation's content experts. Online resources include panel-reviewed links to top sites in many disciplines, professionally developed lesson plans, classroom activities and materials to help with daily classroom planning, and powerful search engines.
  • New York Times: The archive contains hundreds of free lesson plans for grades 6-12. You may perform a keyword search to retrieve a lesson or browse the archive by subject.
  • PBS teacher source: It has more than 3000 lesson plan and activities in subjects like arts and literature, health and fitness, math, science and technology, social Studies, early childhood , library media.

  • ArtsEdNet: (Arts) ArtsEdNet is an online resource that provides a wide variety of lesson plans and curriculum ideas to use in your classroom. The lessons, which have grown out of an approach to teaching art called Discipline Based Art Education (DBAE), include the art of many different cultures, times, and places. The lessons can be sorted alphabetically or by grade level.
  • History Central: (History) The core of the site is the timeline of world history. Culled from one of MultiEducator's 21 history CD's this time line covers the major events in world history from the dawn of civilization to 1999. It has links to other sites on the web as well as other resources. The other sections of the site are Americas War's, Elections, Nations, 400 primary source documents in American history, History of Aviation and Railroads.
