What Works Workshops provided participants with hands-on experience in designing and implementing innovative programs and practices that are demonstrably effective. Workshops emphasized resources and requirements for effective technology integration, educationally sound practices that integrate technology effectively, and resolutions for overcoming barriers to school improvement.
Samples of What Works Workshops:
Advanced Study Institutes were designed to develop expertise in the strategic planning and development of detailed implementation of technology integration efforts. The Institutes focused on identification of school-, district-, and agency-specific needs and improvement priorities; identification of program development needs; and resources and expertise required for implementation. Institutes typically provided participants with a development plan for resource utilization and redeployment and delivery mechanisms for program implementation.
