Assistance
Technical Assistance
The goal of MAR*TEC's technical assistance program is to develop and coordinate initiatives supporting discipline-specific, instructional technology use. MAR*TEC's primary objective is to increase technology-linked pedagogical content knowledge among teachers and improve student standards-based learning including technology education itself.
Professional Development
MAR*TEC's professional development program is designed to develop a comprehensive and targeted system of delivery of teacher education and professional development to teacher educators, teachers and administrators of PreK-12 schools, as well as adult learning providers in the use of learning technologies and advances in pedagogy to enhance the teaching and learning process.

The Adult Literacy/ESL project builds on the Adult Education and Development program at the Center for Research in Human Development and Education, which was established in 1984. The current program includes three coordinated projects designed to support, develop, and extend technology-based, adult literacy training programs in the mid-Atlantic region.
