MARC administers a number of exams which are required for admission to graduate and/or professional schools. Many of these exams are administered nationwide by American College Testing (ACT), Educational Testing Service (ETS), or a similar organization.

Information about the various graduate and professional school entrance exams that are administered at Temple appears below. All registration (with the exception of the MAT) and scoring are handled by the national test agencies and their websites have useful information about the tests, test dates, practice items, how to register for the tests, etc.

GRE

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a national testing program, administered by ETS, and is required for admission into a variety of graduate programs.

The GRE® General Test measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are not related to any specific field of study. The GRE® Subject Tests gauge undergraduate achievement in eight specific fields of study.
