Consortium for Parent Information and Education
The Consortium for Parent Information and Education (CPIE) is a collaboration of the Laboratory for Student Success (LSS), the Mid-Atlantic Regional Educational Laboratory at Temple University; the Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO); the School District of Philadelphia; and the Pennsylvania Parent Information Resource Center (PIRC). The mission of the Consortium for Parent Information and Education is to provide parents with the tools and information they will need to make the best possible decisions about their children's education. As of now, our information mostly targets parents who live in Philadelphia, but we expect to expand our services to reach a larger audience within the region.

This website offers a centralized index of information for parents and others who are interested in educational opportunities, resources, and services for kindergarten through 12th-grade students in the Philadelphia area. Its purpose is to strengthen parents' abilities to make educational decisions on behalf of their school-age children.
