Focus: The Laboratory for Student Success Quality Assurance and Evaluation Unit at Temple University Center for Research for Human Development and Education chiefly focuses its efforts on the evaluation of federally funded initiatives in support of K-12 education and educational reform initiatives in the mid-Atlantic region.

Mission: Our mission is to provide information from objectively gathered and systemically analyzed data, which impart guidance and support, systematic program planning informed decision-making, evaluation of educational practices, that assist educators throughout the mid-Atlantic region in becoming more data-driven.

Clients: The Assurance and Evaluation Unit provides guidance, support, evaluation and assessment to intermediate units, districts, schools and policy makers on behalf of the federal program offices of the state departments of education in the mid-Atlantic region.

Funding: During the 2004 calendar year to-date, our team has obtained substantial contracts to conduct a variety of evaluation studies for a diverse group of clients.
