Convocation at Temple University is a tradition that occurs annually at the end of Welcome Week. This formal ceremony celebrates the arrival of the new class of undergraduate students, freshmen and transfers. The university president, provost, president of the faculty senate, student body president, and alumni association president welcome the new class and mark the beginning of their academic journey.
Convocation will take place Friday, August 21, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Liacouras Center. Watch a recording of last year’s event below.
