H1 linker histone transitions in the chromatin of somatic cell nuclei following SCNT.Cumulus cell nuclei were injected into MII-arrested ooplasts, or myoblast nuclei were introduced by electrofusion. The resultant cloned constructs were fixed at the times indicated. Note that H1FOO assembles on the donor nuclei within 5 min.
