Students in the Department of Journalism produce written articles, audio projects, videos, photo essays, multimedia works, and much more. Our students have published their work in the major media outlets in Philadelphia, New York, Washington and all over the United States.

  Moving in on Yorktown (audio slide show)

Students Rachel Madel and Michelle Sears lived in a shared house in the Yorktown section of Philadelphia, close to the Temple campus. Little did they know that they were living there illegally, four girls in a house zoned as a single-family residence. After being evicted they investigated the story more thoroughly, talking to Yorktown residents and Temple housing officials.
