[Sketch of a Group of Books] The JAAC publishes timely reviews on books about aesthetics, criticism, the arts, and cultural theory. Book reviews (and shorter booknotes) inform JAAC readers about new and important contributions to the ongoing conversations in various fields of aesthetics and art criticism. Reviews evaluate each author's impact in the field; they also seek to aid readers in determining a book's usefulness for teaching.
