Directions to the ITA Office

Main Campus location: 1801 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122. You can get your driving directions through mapquest.com. Directions for public transport can be accessed through the SEPTA website, check the trip planner.

International Teaching Assistants Program (and Speak test) location: Ritter Hall, Room 453. If you want to check the campus map, you will see that Ritter Hall is located at the intersection of 13th Street and Cecil B Moore Avenue.

The part of the building that is situated on the 13th Street is called Ritter Hall. The part situated on Cecil B Moore Avenue is called Ritter Annex. There are (almost secret) passages that allow you to get from one floor of one building to a similar floor in the other building, but you can experiment with that on your own.

Here is the easiest way to find the ITA Office:

• Enter Ritter Hall through 13th Street. This entrance also has an access ramp.
• Take the stairs right in front of you (Stairway number 3, sign says "Dean's Offices, 2nd floor)  or the elevator (to your right), to fourth floor.
• If you took the elevator: you need to turn right and walk towards the display listing offices and room numbers on this floor.
• If you took the stairs: the same display should be right in front of you.
• Turn right and walk around the first corner, outer route.
• Room 453 will be in front of you, where the corridor makes another corner (to the left).

If you get lost at any time, find an office with a campus telephone and ask someone to dial 1-5526 for you. Such telephones are available at the entrance of every building.

You can reach any main campus office by dialing 1 and the last four digits of the actual telephone number. For instance, the telephone number for ITA is 215-204-5526. From a campus phone, you only need to dial 1-5526.
