The ISSS office advises current Temple University students, prospective students and individuals who are sponsored by Temple University. Other individuals seeking immigration advice should consult with a qualified immigration attorney or the international student advisor at their schools.
Temple University requires all international students in Non-immigrant Student (F1 or J1) status to maintain health insurance that meets certain minimum standards as determined by the United States Department of State. In addition, the United States Department of State requires that all individuals in Exchange Visitor (J-1) status also meet minimum insurance requirement.
