The Institute for the Study of Race and Social Thought supports and conducts inquiry into the dynamics of race and its relations to the social world. One of the missions of the Institute for the Study of Race and Social Thought is to provide forums for research on race and racism. The addition of “social thought” is to stress our preference for scholarship that make connections between race and other facets of social life.
