Camille Monahan earned a B.A.  in History from Purdue University in 1995, a masters degree in Human  Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois in 2001, and is currently a law student and Thomas Moore scholar at Marquette University Law School.  She is interested in the issues of race, gender, and justice in the workplace.  Currently, she is working on a project to understand how unionism is succeeding in the Barbadian service economy even as many scholars theorize that unionism in the American service economy is doomed to failure.  Camille Monahan's publications include The Duty to Bargain Collectively, Employee and Union Member Guide to Labor Law: A Manual for Attorneys Representing the Labor Movement, Co-Contributing Author, Chapter 3, Nat'l Labor & Employment Comm., National Lawyers Guild eds., West 2006.
