A note from Neil Roberts, CPA Student Membership Secretary:

Hello everyone,  

I look forward to seeing all of you in Montreal next week, both first time CPA conference attendees and returning participants.  I am writing to call your attention to the attached 2006 CPA Student Information Form.  This form is intended for Graduate students, Undergraduate students, and Independent scholars although each of you will find use for it.  For those of you fitting the student description, the information you provide will be vital for us as an organization so that we can know who you are and what you are working on in order to keep a detailed catalogue of all the students in the CPA for purposes of collectively organizing activities surrounding Caribbean thought in venues including and beyond the annual meeting.  

If you could complete the attached form and return it to me either in person in Montreal or via email that would be wonderful.  Also, if you need additional space to answer any question, feel free to attach another page.  If you filled out a form last year with any outdated information, feel free to complete another one.  Please note one change in this year’s form: a space has been added for you to tell us what your recent publications have been such that, similar to faculty, we can make other members aware of the wonderful intellectual work you have composed.  Hopefully you will help us inform other students about becoming CPA members and encourage them to actively take part in the organization and assist us in increasing the CPA presence globally.  Do not hesitate to have them contact me with any questions at cpastudents@yahoo.com.  

For those of you who are faculty, we need your help as well.  Since many of you either mentor students working in Caribbean thought who were unable to attend the annual conference or may have future students who hitherto do not know about the organization, getting those students connected to other students in the CPA is paramount.  So what I ask is that you save this file with the CPA student form and pass that information on to those students.
