The
Foment de les Arts Decoratives (FAD)
The Foment
de les Arts Decoratives (FAD) is a multi-disciplinary cultural institution,
founded a century ago to help bring the world of design and architecture
closer to all members of society. It is located in the
heart of Barcelona, in
the Raval neighbourhood opposite MACBA, where it occupies the
former Convent dels Àngels, a 16th century building refurbished
by the architects Clotet y Aparicio.

The main meeting room for the conference will be
The Auditorium, a large space on the first floor with views over the
Plaça delsÀngels
and the Plaça de les Caramelles. The space features comprehensive
technical facilities including screen
with multimedia video-projector, ADSL (broadband) connection,
VHS video, press rack and so on.
