ANAMATRONIC
BABY TO REPLACE THE REAL THING
Artem, a British special effects company, has succeeded in
creating
a lifelike anamatronic infant that has already been
used
in a TV commercial, the London Sunday Telegraph reported.
The newspaper said that four puppeteers are required to
operate
the
electronic child. It quoted John Spring of Artem as saying,
"We ended up with a realistic baby that did exactly what
it was
told,
never required changing and hasn't demanded repeat fees."
