Carol Burke, Ph.D.

Carol Burke is an Associate Professor in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the University of California at Irvine. Her publications include a book of poems, two collections of family folklore, a creative writing text, a book on women in prison, and High and Tight: Tradition and Change in the Modern Military, a book on military culture, forthcoming with Beacon Press.
