John J. Cash worked in theater as performance artist and technical director
before starting a career in museum education. He has worked at a
number of living history museums and is currently completing a Ph.D in Folklore and
American Studies while working on a masters in
Information Science at Indiana University. His scholarly interests include Civil War reenating, the digital preservation and archiving of folklore materials, communication by
means of electronic media, and the uses of history.
