2010 Society for Disability Studies Annual Conference
Institute on Disabilities to Host Annual Conference
The Society for Disability Studies will hold its 22nd annual conference at the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University from June 2 to June 5, 2010.
The theme of this year's conference is Disability in the Geo-Political Imagination, will include proactive responses and solutions to the critique that disabled populations—particularly those which are disproportionately poor and people of color—are ill represented, under-analyzed, and under-theorized, particularly in the context of global studies.
For more information about the conference including registration, formal call for papers, go to:
The Society for Disability Studies website, www.disstudies.org/conference/2010.
