TechOWL Program Expands to Include Mobile Devices

Beginning on July 1, 2019, TechOWL's Free Special Phone Program (formerly known as "TDDP" - Telecommunication Device Distribution Program) will offer FREE specialized mobile equipment to eligible Pennsylvanians.

Mobile equipment, including smartphones and tablets, will now be available and is an addition to the other communication devices offered through the Free Special Phone Program.

This program is for people with disabilities who need adapted phone access and meet eligibility requirements.

The Free Special Phone Program is implemented by TechOWL, a program of the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University, in conjunction with the PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) and the PA Public Utility Commission (PUC).
