Webinar for Assistive Technology Reuse Programs

Jim Cook, Coordinator of Emergency Management and of the AT Reuse Initiative at the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University will co-present a webinar entitled Continuity of Operations Planning on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. EST. Mr. Cook, who is an Emergency Management Consultant at the Pass It On Center will be joined by Trish Redmon, Consulting Editor/Education at the Pass It On Center.
The webinar is designed for Assistive Technology reuse programs across the country and will address the issue of being prepared to serve customers in an emergency or disaster. Mr. Cook and Ms. Redmon will present a step-by-step process for developing a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP). Steps will include identifying circumstances that might threaten program operation and understanding the components of a COOP. Free CEU's offered.
