Families like yours visit the infant lab every day—families
interested in how children acquire language, develop spatial competence, and develop memory skills.
The lab is directed by Dr. Nora
Newcombe and Dr. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek. Dr. Newcombe is a leader in the
study of spatial and memory development, and Dr. Hirsh-Pasek is
reknowned for the study of early language learning, reading, and the
role of playful learning. Our lab depends on the participation of
families. We appreciate your willingness to work with us as we learn
more about the wonderful skills that make us human and better
understand how to help all children reach their potential.
