Welcome to the

Temple Infant Laboratory!

Welcome to the Temple University Infant Laboratory directed by Drs. Nora Newcombe and Kathy Hirsh-Pasek. Join us in discovering how children from 5 months to 6 years learn about the world they live in. Our labs conduct cutting-edge research on spatial development, memory, language development, reading and the role of play in learning. Our results are published in scientific journals and books. They have also been featured in popular press, including parenting magazines, news reports (ABC, CBS, NBC News, & 20/20), and television programs such as  the Today Show and Good Morning America. Sign up below to learn more about us and about how scientists discover how children teach adults!
