Welcome to the Temple University Infant Laboratory directed by Drs. Nora Newcombe and Kathy Hirsh-Pasek. Join us in discovering how children from 5 months to 6 years learn about the world they live in. Our labs conduct cutting-edge research on spatial develoment, memory, language development, reading and the role of play in learning. Our results are not only published in journals and books but have also been featured in the popular press through parenting magazines, ABC, CBS and NBC News as well as on 20/20 and Good Morning America. Learn more about us and about how -- in the Temple University Laboratory -- scientists discover ways for children to teach adults. You can be part of the process.
