Stephen Jankiewicz has been teaching in the Intellectual Heritage Program since 2008. He obtained his Ph.D. in History from Rutgers University. He has published articles in the Journal of World History and the Journal of Social History. His research interests include nineteenth- and twentieth-century British imperialism, cross-cultural interactions, technology, and environmental history. His works of fiction include Families of Fire, a young adult fantasy novel.
