Cultural Education Program

The Intensive English Language Program offers the students opportunities to practice English outside their classrooms in a special Cultural Education Program.  The students meet with other students who have the same interests and spend time listening to and discussing music, watching and discussing movies, talking about food and humor, playing board games, doing volunteer work, and having conversations on various topics.

The classes offered in the program are chosen by the students themselves and can change from session to session.  Students are encouraged to demonstrate their expertise while improving their listening and speaking skills and increasing their vocabulary.

These classes are held every Wednesday.

Conversation Partners

The Intensive English Language Program understands that students often have a difficult time speaking with Americans outside of the classroom. In the Conversation Partners Program, we match our international student with a fluent English speaker (a member of the Temple community) for conversation practice and cultural exchange.
