Community and Institutional Transformative Practices: Inclusion, Equity, and Awareness

*** *** *** *** ***

Over the course of the last year we have all been privy to the changes within our educational institutions.  We have been drawn closer together as we balance doing more with fewer resources. A constant is that we have each other to depend on and provide support for multicultural pluralism. Community and institutional support empowers us to transform and reshape student perspectives, our own professional and social interactions, and reimagine possibilities drawn from our own belief systems.  Utilizing our social networks, the platforms to create ongoing dialogue regarding inclusion, equity, and awareness will usher in stronger leaders who will advocate for all people today and tomorrow. We continue to navigate the routes education is traveling upon and it is apparent that we have to keep moving toward being a more inclusive, equitable, and aware society.
