Outside of ICS suite

The Institute for Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety (ICS) includes a modern, 11,000 square foot training facility that features areas for both didactic and hands-on instruction for small or large groups, as well as rooms for standardized patient scenarios. Built-in recording and playback capabilities within these areas allow for documentation and debriefing of all exercises.

In addition, other multidisciplinary educational activities are held in the Frederick A. Reichle Surgical Research Laboratory, located in the nearby School of Medicine and Erny Auditorium in Temple University Hospital. The Reichle Surgical Research Laboratory includes areas approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) for Surgical Skills Education animal protocols.
