Fellowships
The Center for the Humanities offers a variety of fellowships, associateships and awards. The fellowship names link to further information.
Faculty Fellowship
Temple faculty are given reduced teaching and a research budget for the year. Four awards.
External Humanities Fellowship
Recent post-doctoral scholars receive full-time support with a small amount of teaching. One award for one-to-two years.
Graduate School Senior Doctoral Fellowship
Advanced graduate students receive full support for the academic year to work on the dissertation. Two per year.
Graduate Teaching Fellowship
Graduate students receive full support for the year to work on the dissertation and teach an interdisciplinary course of their own design. Two per year (one for 2009-10).
Graduate Associateship
Associateships provide research money to graduate students at any llevel. Students also participate in the Fellows Seminar and annual graduate student conference. Six-to-ten per year.
Iris and Gene Rotberg Undergraduate Research Humanities Award
Faculty work for one semester with an undergraduate assistant on a designated research project. Two-to-eight per year.
