Humanities Fellowship
2007-2008 External Fellowship at The Center for the Humanities at Temple University
The Center for the Humanities at Temple University supports the work of talented new voices in interdisciplinary scholarship and teaching in the humanities and humanistic social sciences. It invites applicants to its External Fellowship program for residency in 2008-09, renewable for a second year at the discretion of the College. Fellows pursue their own research, participate in the activities of the Center, and teach up to two courses per year. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong interdisciplinary research potential and show evidence of exemplary teaching.
Applicants must have received the Ph.D. between January 2005 and the date of application. Application materials must include a letter of interest, a current curriculum vitae, a sample of scholarly work, three letters of reference, and a proposal for an innovative, interdisciplinary course in the humanities that the candidate would most like to teach.
The deadline for applications for the 2008-2009 External Fellowship is January 21, 2008.
