Scott’s research interests include aesthetics, ethics, and pragmatism, along with comparative philosophy. He is currently writing a dissertation that explores how the work of John Dewey can be used to build a theory of how aesthetic experience is morally cultivating. In the spring he will be teaching a course for the Center that focuses on the connections that can be made between pragmatist aesthetics and eastern religious/philosophical traditions. |
