A fiction writer in the M.A. in Creative Writing program at Temple, Seth Pauley earned his B.A. with honors in History from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. Seth is now at work on a novel that begins when a painter disappears during a work-related trip to San Francisco. The novel is primarily concerned with what happens after the painter's death, especially in the lives of his two children. As adults, they attempt to discover who their secretive father really was by interviewing family and friends and by looking through the remains of their father's belongings. In this novel, Seth is exploring the ways in which people search for, remember, and adopt various narrative strategies in retelling the past. |
