FrontierMEDEX (Medical Evacuation and Repatriation Insurance) Summary

 

THE FrontierMEDEX SIX MONTH PREMIUM OF $34.05 WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR FALL TUITION BILL.

All international students in F1 or J1 visa status are automatically charged the single six month premium of $34.05 for medical evacuation and repatriation insurance on the Spring tuition bill.

All international students will automatically be enrolled in the medical evacuation and repatriation insurance provided through FrontierMEDEX. You have the option of waiving this insurance and providing proof of outside coverage. If you elect to not use the FrontierMEDEX plan, you MUST complete a Waiver of Medical Evacuation and Repatriation Insurance Coverage form no later than March 14, 2014 to receive a credit on your tuition bill for the premium.

 

For the Spring 2014 semester, the waiver form must be competed and submitted to the Human Resources Benefits office to receive a credit on your Fall tuition bill. If you do not complete a waiver form, you will be automatically enrolled in a single FrontierMEDEX policy and you will be responsible for paying the single six month premium of $34.05 charged to your Spring tuition bill.

If you lose your outside health and/or medical evacuation and repatriation coverage for any reason you MUST contact the Benefits office immediately at 215-926-2270 to obtain coverage.
